Who says the Bahamas doesn't have seasons?

It's true we don't have autumn leaves and snow. Our seasons are more subtle, but each is unique and wondrous in its own way.

Right now, the mahi mahi's running way off the shore from the crystal clear turquoise water and in the inky blue Atlantic.

If you're lucky enough to own a home in the Bahamas, fishing may be one of your favourite pass times. It's just as fun to marinade the fresh fish and throw it on the grill on your back porch.

The lovely birds from the north – the Red Starts, Painted Buntings, Oven Birds and Warblers – are still vacationing here in the islands.

With Spring around the corner, the weather is gorgeous with temps fluctuation from the high 60s at night to 70s and low 80s in the day – perfect porch weather.

The days are getting longer, the beautiful bougainvillea is a riot of colour and the Bahamas is a great place to be!
There's another season in the Bahamas – House Hunting Season.

Recovered from the holiday season, this is when the search for Bahamas real estate moves into high gear.
