He started his career at the popular Green Parrot Restaurant on Paradise Island as a bus boy. A hard worker and quick study, he steadily climbed the job ladder, moving up to bartender and then into management. Alex was a driving force in the opening of the Green Parrot on Bay Street, where he helped set up the computer system and trained personnel. While working at Green Parrot, the entrepreneurial Alex owned a small public transportation jitney service. In 2008, Alex became involved in the property management field, supervising the operations of commercial retail space and high end condominium associations. Alex successfully sat his Bahamas Real Estate Association exam in 2009 to become a licensed real estate agent. With that, he added sales associate to his portfolio. Friendly and outgoing by nature, Alex is very committed to his profession and aims to develop successful long term relationships with his clients. He has invested in a bar/restaurant business, “Bahama Joe’s.” Located at the Centre of Commerce next to the Hilton, it’s become the “in” night spot. It’s also the perfect venue for displaying listing material and meeting potential purchasers. When he’s not working, Alex enjoys bowling, beaching and travelling.
