Dale Kemp

Dale Kemp was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. He graduated from San Jose Christian College with a degree in Theology and Pastoral Studies.

Dale has a strong background in retail management. He made his mark at Nassau Glass Company in Nassau as an assistant general manager and as general manager of the lighting division.

Although Nassau-born, Dale has strong ties to Exuma. His great aunt was none other than well known Exumian Gloria Patience, better known as "The Shark Lady." Gloria’s sea adventures – hauling sharks into her 13-foot Boston Whaler - have been featured on television and in the newspapers.

During a vacation in George Town, Exuma, in 2001, Dale and his wife, Lisa, rediscovered the charm and beauty of the island. They decided this was the island of their dreams. In October, 2003 they packed up and made the move.

Dale has spent three years as manager of Exuma Markets in George Town, Exuma. This has given him the opportunity to get to know many people in the community – both Bahamian and non-Bahamian.

He has a passion for meeting people, and enjoys swimming, kayaking, and exploring the beautiful islands of Exuma.

His wife, Lisa, is Coldwell Banker Lightbourn Realty’s office manager in George Town.
