Closed! Sandy Cay in Abaco

An American couple and their young son are experiencing the thrill of living on their own private island after closing on Sandy Cay in Abaco. The couple was immediately pulled to the property after their Abaco real estate agent, Tara Claridge, sent them photos and videos of the tropical paradise, along with detailed descriptions of the property. The moment they stepped on the island, they were hooked. “It was love at first sandy step!” Tara said. The owners are no strangers to Abaco and were adamant they only wanted to buy in that northern group of islands in the Bahamas. Sandy Cay is a prime piece of Abaco real estate. It's only a five minute boat ride from the mainland and is positioned beautifully between Marsh Harbour and Man-O-War Cay. With over 800 feet of pristine beachfront, it has two beaches on opposite sides of the island, meaning one side is always in the lee. With four homes, a private marina and a fitness centre with views of the historic Hope Town lighthouse, this is a jewel of a hideaway. The asking price was $8 million. Congratulations to the new owners. May you always have sand in your shoes. Well done, Tara! Explore this Abaco real estate treasure
