Canada-based waste energy provider Plasco Group Inc wants to build a six-acre plant in Nassau, Bahamas, to convert 400 tons of garbage a day into 21 megawatts of electricity. This would be equivalent to five percent of the Bahamas Electricity Corporation's current needs.
The $100 million proposal is in response to Bahamas Elecricity Corp's renewable energy request.
