New trends in the Bahamas retail industry

A NUMBER of large, high end retailers in Nassau, Bahamas, have decided to mix their merchandise to match a downturn in the economy.
With a soft American tourist market, the Bahamas business people will make the shift to cater to both local and visiting shoppers.
"We are still bringing in goods from pricey brands like Nike, but are looking at the lower end of their price range," Steven Hoffer of Hoffersport told the Nassau Guardian, one of the leading dailies in Nassau, Bahamas.
