Pleasants Higgs

Pleasants Higgs moved to the Bahamas in 1995 after being born and raised in North Carolina. While still in the United States, Pleasants earned a degree in Mass Communications/Journalism from UNC Chapel Hill and a degree in Interior Design from East Carolina University. She had been working as an Interior Designer in Nassau since 1998 and has worked with many exclusive residential and resort clients throughout the Bahamas. Her knowledge and experience in high end properties is a huge advantage in dealings with this type of clientele. Pleasants began her career in real estate when she started offering design services through a small, specialized real estate firm in Nassau. She obtained her license in November 2008 after successfully completing the BREA Real Estate course. In December of 2009, she relocated to Abaco, where she continues to offer real estate and interior design services to local and foreign clientele. This combination of service is her unique forte, as she can help sellers prepare their home for a better sale price with staging advice as well as aid a new buyer in the furnishing of a newly purchased home. She lives in Hope Town, Abaco with her husband and three daughters.
