The chain of islands called the Bahamas have some of the world's most beautiful beaches, and most are still unspoiled by commercialism. Since the Bahamas is made up of several small islands, there is a lot of shoreline in this country – and a lot of beaches. This makes it relatively easy to find a quiet stretch of beach.
New Providence Island has Cabbage Beach, a very popular tourist stop that covers 3 miles of coastline between Atlantis Lagoon and Snorkeler's Cove. Cable Beach is more lively, with restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and casinos close by. Cable Beach also has tours and rental equipment for aquatic sports.
Harbour Island has Pink Sands Beach, where a coral reef lies offshore of the 3-mile beach. Pink Sands is great for swimming and scuba diving.
Cat Island has many white sand beaches and beautifully clear ocean.
Acabos Island has Tahiti Beach, accessible by boat, trail, or bike.
You can find just the beach to fit your mood here in the Bahamas. Hope to see you soon.
