Can stalling help mixed use resort projects? For the Bahamas and Caribbean, the answer may be 'yes.' The project developer of the $867 million South Ocean resort in Nassau, Bahamas, said the trend has increased his choice of hotel brand, The Tribune of Nassau reports.
Roger Stein said two potential hotel brands have opened up for the Bahamas developers that weren't available before.
When it comes to securing debt financing for major real estate and resort developments, the world can be a tough place, Stein told The Tribune, a leading Bahamas newspaper.
