Bahamas airport fee increases likely

The Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) plans to raise a user fee socked to airline passengers to help fund a $410 million reconstruction project.
Travelers to the Bahamas can look for an increase from $15 to $25 over a period of time, according to The Tribune of Nassau.

NAD last year embarked on a much need renovation project, and invited businesses to help fund the facelift through advertising. The Bahamas real estate sector was quick to respond to opportunities to advertise on scrolling backlit Rev Max screens, Coldwell Banker Lightbourn Realty being one of the real estate leaders in the Bahamas to step forward.
According to Tribune Business, the user fee will be implemented in various stages.
