It's Bahamas Home Improvement Season

Bahamas home owners love autumn. It provides a respite from the summer heat, and kicks off the arts and craft season in Nassau.
Many home owners use this as a time to upgrade their living spaces and art plays a major role in home improvements in the Bahamas.
One of the highlights of the season was last week's art exhibition by the talented Minnis family. Eddie, a popular musician and artist, his daughters, Roshanne and Nicole, and Roshanne's husband, Ritchie Eyma, displayed their work at UBS here in Nassau.
The Minnis and Eyma artwork is truly a celebration of the magnificent landscapes and people of the Bahamas with impressionistic scenes of the fish and vegetable market under Paradise Island Bridge.
Eddie Minnis is particularly well known for his palette knife technique, especially as applied to his stunning paintings of the Poinciana with its flaming orange and red flowers.
Each artist is incredibly gifted and has made an enormous contribution to art in the Bahamas.
Eddie, Roshanne and Ritchie are also sales associates with Coldwell Banker Lightbourn Realty.
