Brides Magazine has named the Sandals Emerald Bay in Exuma as the ultimate resort for 2011 in the Bahamas and Caribbean region.
We're not surprised.
Exuma real estate is amongst the most beautiful in the Bahamas.
Exuma is actually a chain of islands in the south east Bahamas that boast hundreds, if not thousands, of secret coves and beaches, and some of the most exquisite real estate in the world. These Bahamas islands have attracted many celebrities throughout the years, from explorer/filmmaker Jacques-Yves Cousteau to Johnny Depp.
Depp fell in love with Exuma while filming Pirates of the Caribbean and bought an island there.
Sandals, the all-inclusive resort operator, bought the Emerald Bay Resort and magnificent beachfront property in 2009. Located on the island of Great Exuma, the property opened in January 2010 under the Sandals brand.
Sandals considers the Emerald Bay property on Exuma its flagship property.
