Bahamas fuel surcharge plunges

The tourism market may be soft and Bahamas real estate sales may not be booming, but a 45 percent drop in the Bahamas Electricity Corporation's fuel surcharge has boosted the spirit of consumers.
The fuel surcharge in the Bahamas has dropped from $0.135 per kilowatt hour.
