The first “cold front” of the season has made its appearance and you couldn't ask for nicer weather.

After a good north wester, the winds are settling and the weather's a bit cooler - warm in the day without the humidity and balmy at night.

The Farmers Markets have opened after a summer hiatus with lots of delicious fruit and vegetables, and local jams and preserves.

Our northern friends still think it's warm enough to swim. One thing's for sure, it's great for chilling on a porch in a rocker, gazing at the sea with a book in hand.

We're enjoying our homes, potting vegetables in our back yard and planning for the holidays.

The social season's kicked in and we're entertaining more and renewing old friendships.

Life is good.
