Fired Up For Fall in Our Bahamas Homes

(Toad Hall offers a unique fire room). Our seasons here in the Bahamas islands are subtle, but as with other places, they usher in a welcome change. A select number of Bahamas homes celebrate the “cooler” months with unique rooms dominated by native cut stone fire places. These are prizes. Toad Hall in beautiful Treasure Cay, Abaco, is one such home. The cut stone fireplace takes centre stage against a classic black and white checker tile floor. This is a special home. It's not only located on an idyllic island in a highly desirable second home destination, it has access to a gorgeous beach that's been rated among the top 10 in the world. The sparkling, crystal clear water's a stone's throw away. Now that we're enjoying cooler temps (low 80s in the day, 70s at night), thoughts turn towards the warmth and luxury of a roaring fire inside our Bahamas Homes. Outside fire places are also popular with flames dancing and the aromatic smell of native pine wafting in the air. They add a new dimension to island living, drawing family and friends.
