Stricter standards for coastal developments in Bahamas

The Bahamas government has put in place further restrictions on coastal real estate development as a result of global warming challenges. Michael Major, director of the Department of Physical Planning, said Columbus Cove in Nassau would not under today's standards have been allowed to be developed 40 feet from the high water mark.
