The Approval in Principle Process

What does ‘approval in principle' for Bahamas real estate developers mean?
The Bahamas government intends to clarify this point in new draft legislation it hopes to circulate by month's end, The Nassau Tribune reports today.
Further amendments to Bahamas real estate laws intend to reflect new types of development, including green communities and the use of renewable energy, according to Minister of the Environment Earl Deveaux.
The government hopes to strike a balance between having the ability to review and change ‘approvals in principle' while insuring real estate developers don't get hit with a big cost burden if earlier decisions are reversed.
