The middle end market

Have Bahamas real estate sales declined in recent months? Yes and no.
Second home sales, especially in the Family Islands, are down. That's not to say that the Bahamas real estate market is dormant. Coldwell Banker Lightbourn Realty bounced into 2009 with a $2.2 million sales contract for real estate in Harbour Island, Bahamas. And Lightbourn Realty agents are actively showing high end properties.
Interestingly, the real estate middle end market is still active in Nassau, Bahamas. Properly priced homes and vacant land are selling. It's the overpriced inventory that's not moving.
